At 12:17 pm Attala County Fire and Rescue, Attala Deputies, Medics from Med-Stat EMS, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to an mva near Hilltop Grocery on Hwy 12 East. Audio First to arrive on scene, Unit 208, notified responding personnel that there was one male out of the vehicle and laying on the ground by the car. Ethel Volunteer 208 advised that traffic control was need that one lane of traffic was blocked. Med-Stat transported a 20 year old male to Montfort Jones Hospital with minor back pain The Medics stated that the subject was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
